Shawn Matthew Beane

BEANE, Shawn Matthew, of Plymouth, MA passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2023. He was 48 years old. Shawn was born to Stephen M. and Sharon L. Beane (Grennell) on July 14, 1974.

Shawn grew up in Bourne and graduated from Bourne High School. He worked as a technician for Verizon for the past 27 years. Shawn was the life of the party. He enjoyed spending his free time surrounded by family and friends. Some of his favorite things included fishing and boating, going to the beach, and going out to eat. He loved playing and watching hockey, listening to music, singing, and dancing. Mostly, he wanted to be remembered for making people laugh.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Ann Beane (Taylor) to whom he was married for 24 years; his son Matthew Shawn Beane and daughters, Peyton Taylor Beane and Samantha Ann Beane of Plymouth, MA; his parents Stephen and Sharon Beane of Naples, FL; his brothers Scott Beane and wife Kristy of Bourne, and Stephen and wife Nicole of Franklin, TN. He was loved by many including his in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 21st from 4-7 pm at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7pm in the funeral home. A reception to share memories and have fun (what he liked to do most) will be held at the Mezza Luna on Saturday, July 22nd starting at 12pm. The burial will be private.
