COVID-19 Update
Updated On: Mar 18, 2020
A Message From The IBEW
Due to the public health emergency caused by the CoronaVirus or Covid-19, the IBEW System Council T-6 is currently working with Verizon to allow our members that have the capability to work from home on a temporary, voluntary basis. As of now, all of the details including which titles, groups, locations etc have not been completely worked out. We are hoping to have an agreement in place as well as full details by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. As soon as we have the complete agreement and details, we will relay them to the membership through the tape, our website and social media. For those of our members that interact physically with the public and customers as a function of your job, please treat this hazard as you would any other matter of safety-don’t take any chances. Follow state and federal guidelines of social distancing, and if you have any concern that a customer could be ill, do not enter the premises, call your manager.
If you have any questions please call the Union office at 508-947-2131
